We are the Celiac/gluten-free group in Louisville, Kentucky. Our mission is to provide information and support to those with Celiac Disease and other forms of gluten intolerance and their families, and to increase the awareness of these conditions in our community. Our chapter has been active for more than 20 years. We meet on the second Thursday of every month at Norton Audubon Hospital, 2355 Poplar Level Road in the Medical Office Building West, Room G1.  We also hold cooking classes, group dinners, and other events. Print an Application to join our group!

Next Meeting

Our next meeting is Thursday, June 14 at Norton Audubon Hospital, 2355 Poplar Level Road in the Medical Office Building West, Room G1 —  7:00 p.m. 

Topic: Our speaker will be a pharmacist to answer questions about gluten in drugs.

Bring a dish to share with the group. The focus of our food/social time will be “Derby Favorites”.  Please bring one of your seasonal favorites to share with the group, or just come and enjoy! Please bring a copy of your recipe for the newsletter, and label the other main allergens in your dish, like milk, nuts, etc., as several of our members have multiple food sensitivities.

Gluten-Free 101 is for new members or anyone who has questions about the GF diet. The next one is Thursday, June 14  at 6:30 p.m. at the same location.

Annual Celiac Picnic – August 12 — 5:30 pm — Warwick Park in St. Matthews

Ribs and pulled chicken from Kingsley’s will be provided by the group. Bring a gluten-free side dish and/or dessert to share.

Cooking Class: The date for the next class will be posted on Facebook and this website. The date is to be determined and will cover gluten-free breads. Watch this space for details. This is open to our members only.
