We are a chapter of the Celiac Sprue Association in Louisville, Kentucky. Our mission is to provide information and support to those with Celiac Disease and other forms of gluten intolerance and their families, and to increase the awareness of these conditions in our community.

Next MeetingPlease join us at 7:00 on Thursday, November 10 in room 2G at the Baptist Hospital East Education
Center for a discussion of Mythbusters: Common Myths and Misperceptions about Celiac Disease and the Gluten Free Diet. We will also have our annual Cookie Exchange, so if you would like to participate, bring zip-loc bags with 6 cookies in each to swap. As always, gluten free snacks to share are welcome (but not required).
Also, in November we will continue our brief welcome sessions for new members before our regular meetings. So if you are new to the group, please join us on Thursday, November 10 at 6:30 in room 2C at the Baptist Hospital East Education Center for this introductory session.

— Trader Joe's has opened in the Shelbyville Road Plaza (4600 Shelbyville Rd.) Click here for a list of No Gluten Ingredients Used items (Remember to always read labels, as ingredients and suppliers can change.)
— We are participating in Kroger's gift card fundraiser. This is a great opportunity to raise funds for the group with the purchases you already make! We are selling gift cards for $5 (pre-loaded with $5), and you can re-charge them at any Kroger. You can then use the cards for groceries, gas, and pharmacy purchases, and 4% will go back to the group. You can purchase cards for yourself or your friends and family at our meetings or by contacting Sharon Sengelaub.

— Kroger in St. Matthews is now carrying Udi's products and they are not selling well. These items are located in the bakery section with the cakes and donuts (you may not look in that area for GF items. Next time in that area, stop in and buy some. It is always nice to support our local stores.
