Our next meeting is Thursday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. at the Baptist Hospital East Education Center, room 2G. Our speaker this month will be Alan Simon, pharmacist and owner of Simon’s Apothecary in Prospect. Alan will be speaking on probiotics, enzymes, and other supplements for people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance. If you’d like, bring a gluten free snack to share. (Please bring a copy of your recipe for the newsletter, and label the other main allergens in your dish, like milk, nuts, etc., as several of our members have multiple food sensitivities.)
We also offer “Welcome/Extra Help” sessions for new members or anyone who has questions about the GF diet. These sessions are held before our general meetings. The next one is Thursday, March 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Baptist Hospital East Education Center, Room 2J.
